Woman charged with embezzlement at local business

A Vicksburg woman has been charged with embezzlement in the January theft of money from the Vicksburg Women’s Clinic, 100 Maxwell Drive.
Rachel Haley Brogdon, 31, 1644 Chambers St., is accused of taking $1,806.18 from the clinic, where she had been an employee.
She was released from the Warren County Jail after posting $5,000 bond.
In other cases:
• The resident of a house in the 200 block of Emerald Drive told police Wednesday he found a bullet hole in an outside wall of their home. The person reported shots being fired in the area Saturday night.
• Shots were reported fired about 7:33 p.m. in the 1400 block of Standard Hill Road.
• Shots were reported fired about 5:56 p.m. in the 400 block of Locust Street.
Police made the following arrests Wednesday:
• Rhonda Elaine Brewer, 43, 1447 Parkside Drive, was arrested about 8:48 a.m. at the Vicksburg Police Department on a leash law violation — allowing her dog to run loose.
• Amber Nicole Lovette, 25, 1709 Martha St., was arrested about 9:30 a.m. at the police department on three counts of contempt of court. She was also served with multiple warrants.
• A warrant was served on David Earl Fowler Jr., 37, 405 Dogwood Lake Drive.
• Amanda Moak Blackwell, 37, 45 Wodgate Drive, Brandon, was arrested about 12:27 p.m. at the police department on a charge of contempt of court.
• Adrian Louis Cox Jr., 19, 1303 Kennington St., Jackson, was arrested about 1:07 p.m. at the police department on a charge of contempt of court.
• Richard Earl Ray, 34, 30 Summer Seat Road, was arrested about 2:28 p.m. in the 2700 block of Alcorn Drive on charges of trespassing and harassing telephone calls. He was also served with multiple warrants.
