Maxine East and Derrick Damon Demby were married at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018, at the home of the groom’s grandmother, Martha Demby Knight.

The bride is the daughter of Viola Stewart of Tallahassee, Fla., and the late Eugene Mack.

The groom is the son of Debra Demby and William R. Coleman and Wanda Clark and Frank S. Brown, all of Vicksburg.

Minister Wilbert Doss officiated the ceremony.

A reception was held immediately following the wedding.
