Jesse and Sain Trotter Jr. of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, LaKevion Briana Trotter to Kurtis Le’Shay Clark, son of Frank and Wanda Clark Brown of Vicksburg.

Miss Trotter is the granddaughter of the late Rev. Jesse and Senora Trotter Sr. and the late Gus and Annie Bell Smith.

Mr. Clark is the grandson of the late Hayes and Rosie Lee Clark and godson of the late Tommie Lee Williams Sr. and Pearline Williams.

The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Vicksburg High School, a 2010 graduate of Tuskegee University, where she received a bachelors degree in chemical engineering and a 2012 graduate of Jackson State University, where she received her masters in environmental engineering.

She is employed at Grand Gulf Nuclear Station as a nuclear chemistry technician. Also, she is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

The groom-elect is a 2007 graduate of Vicksburg High School and attended Hinds Community College.

He is employed at Tyson Foods as a food safety quality assurance technician.

The wedding will be May 5, 2018, at Greater Mount Zion M.B. Church in Vicksburg with Bishop Edward Knight Sr. officiating.
