Auto burglaries reported at RV park

Two auto burglaries were reported Monday at Magnolia RV Park, 211 Miller Road, Vicksburg police Sgt. Johnnie Edwards said.
The owner of one of the vehicles reported at 9:44 a.m. that someone entered and ransacked it but nothing was taken.
At 8:58 p.m. a wallet containing a driver’s license, social security card and two credit cards and .40-caliber Smith & Wesson semi-automatic handgun were reported taken from a 2012 Dodge Ram pickup.
In other cases:
• Shots were reported fired about 11:19 p.m. Monday at the Travel Inn, 1675 North Frontage Road.
• Shots were reported fired about 11:07 a.m. Monday in the 2700 block of U.S. 61 South.
• A car in the parking lot of Golding Barge Lines, 101 Lee St., was reported ransacked about 1:21 p.m. Sunday. Nothing was reported missing.
• A white 650cc Yamaha Volt motorcycle parked at the intersection of Levee and South streets was reported taken about 12:22 p.m. Sunday.
• Shots were reported fired about 10:08 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Cherry and Chambers streets.
• Shots were reported fired about 2:01 p.m. Saturday in the Lovers Lane area.
• Thirty canned soft drinks were reported taken from We Care about 8:41 a.m. Friday.
The following arrests were made between Friday and Monday:
• Marniqua Shaylisa Stamps, 19, 53 Old Gibson Road, was arrested about 22:10 p.m. Monday at Porters Chapel Road and Halls Ferry Road on two counts of contempt of court.
• Kareen James Sorrels, 38, 510 Feld St., was arrested about 4:03 a.m. Monday in the 2500 block of Franklin St. on a charge of having an open container of alcohol.
• Bettye Jean Robertson, 45, 2811 Letitia St., was arrested about 10:40 p.m. Sunday in the 2300 block of Letitia on a charge of simple assault-creating fear.
• Justin Michael Dauman, 26, 303 Pecan St., was arrested about 3:32 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Halls Ferry and Hawkins roads on two counts of contempt of court.
• A warrant was served Sunday on Jason Maurice Benard, 36, 1001 Polk St.
• Darius Jeron Brown, 27, 360 China Grove Road, was arrested about 11:09 p.m. Saturday in the 2200 block of Grove Street on charges of having a expired driver’s license, no proof of insurance, failure to yield right of way, having an open container of alcohol and leaving the scene of an accident with injuries-failure give aid.
• Willis Junior Jordan, 58, 2207 Pearl St., was arrested about 10:34 p.m. Saturday at Washington and South streets, on a charge of public drunkenness.
• Keharvey, Kentrell Gary, 18, 53 Old Gibson Road, was arrested about 10:10 p.m. Saturday at Miliary Avenue and Mission 66 on charges of having an expired driver’s license, reckless driving and no proof of insurance.
• Nicholas Montell Sanders, 21, 222 Hillside Drive, was arrested about 10:10 p.m. Saturday at Military Avenue and Mission 66 on a charge of having an open container of alcohol.
• DeHarvey Lefran Gary, no age or address listed, was arrested about 10:10 p.m. Saturday at Military Avenue and Mission 66, on two counts of contempt of court and having an open container of alcohol.
• Luquisheon Shavon Sparks, 21, 204 Linda Drive, was arrested about 4:30 a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Lakehill Drive on a charge of disorderly conduct.
• Warrants were served Friday on Steven Lawrence, 30, 410 Lakehill Drive Apt. 815.
• James Everett Bryant, 69, 1013 Walnut St., was arrested about 10:47 p.m. Friday at Clay and Hope streets on a charge of first-offense DUI, careless driving and having no proof of insurance.
• Heather Gay Phelps, 47, 812 Speed St. Apt. 5, was arrested about 9 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of Speed Street on a charge of disturbance of family.
• Renee Latrisha Thomas, 32, 1322 Spring St. Apt. 13, was arrested about 8:34 p.m. Friday on North Washington Street on a charge of contempt of court.
• Dearius Javon Jones, 19, 6221 Commons Circle, was arrested about 4:09 p.m. Friday in the 2100 block of U.S. 61 North on a charge of receiving stolen property.
• A warrant was served Friday on Shamaar Ladale Horton, 23, 95 Hometown Road.
• Jalila Marie Barnes, 27, 334 Lakehill Drive, was arrested about 1:13 p.m. Friday at the Vicksburg Police Department on three counts of contempt of court.
• Warrants were served Friday on Georgire Benard, 63, 167 Smith Place.
• Geramiah DeShawn London, no age or address given, was arrested about 9:46 a.m. Friday at the police department on a charge of contempt of court.
