Vicksburg man indicted for trying to run over girlfriend

A Vicksburg man accused of trying to run over his girlfriend has been indicted by a Warren County grand jury on a charge of aggravated assault-domestic violence.
Kenneth Lee Jackson Jr. 19, 110 South Drive, is accused of hitting his girlfriend with the car after an argument Feb. 7 at the Whataburger, 3402 Halls Ferry Road.
The girl, who was not identified, was treated at Merit Health River Region and released.
According to police reports, Jackson was driving a 2017 Nissan Altima and jumped the curb at the restaurant, hitting the girl in the knees. She fell and managed to roll and escape. Jackson then left the area.
In another case, Kimyetta Williams, 37, 1805 Cherry St., was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault-domestic violence involving a December 2017 incident in which she stabbed her boyfriend multiple times.
The boyfriend was taken to Merit Health River Region and later transferred to University of Mississippi Medical Center because of a severe wound in his hand.
In other indictments:
• Kwesi Crawley, 32, 1712 Martha St., arson. Crawley is accused of setting fire to a house in the 100 block of Alcorn Drive in September 2017.
• Fredrick Whip Hill, 35, 820 Polk St., burglary and receiving stolen property.
• Shekeya Renee Hill, 21, 730 Thomas St., burglary of a dwelling.
• Malcolm Ray Robertson, 27, 404 Zollingers Hill, burglary of a dwelling.
• Keion Jacory Jones, 25, 208 Meadowvale Drive, third-offense domestic violence.
• Keithan Terrell Ward, 20, 146 Smith Place, burglary of a dwelling.
• John Ragsdale, 44, 1415 High St., burglary of a dwelling.
• Patricia Ann Taylor, 58, 123 Williams Road, fourth-offense DUI.
• John Fredrick Dolley, 34, 1238 Grammer St., third-offense domestic violence.
• William Cody Breland, 22, 228 Whatley Road, two counts, vehicle burglary.
