To the editor:

What a success! On behalf of the Young Xecutives, I want to extend a heart-felt thank you for your commitment to our third annual back to school drive as well as being a generous sponsor for this worthy cause. Your support opens new opportunities for the youth within our community. Students who otherwise could not afford such supplies will now have those items for their use at the beginning of the school year. This initiative was designed to be an act of caring to show the youth and their families that there are still believers in the community. Therefore, your love is very appreciated!

The support shown has made a big difference and will serve as a catalyst for further positive enrichment of the community. Secondly, with your donation we were able to serve over 300 students ranging from kindergarten to high school seniors. Matthew 5:16 mentioned, “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Thank you for publishing our article it help us shine that light over the youth in the City of Vicksburg. In addition, we were able to present the five love languages to our kids, which are words of affirmation, quality time, receiving gifts, act of service and physical touch, which includes hugs too! Last but not least, this event has potential to help keep the crime down if we show the community that someone still loves them. So, thank you again for your contribution to my community outreach program.
