In addition, MDWFP will operate check stations for hunters to bring their harvested deer for CWD sampling. Two of them will be located at the Onward Store on U.S. 61, and the boat ramp at the intersection of Mississippi 465 and U.S. 61. The check stations will be in operation Dec. 29-30 and Jan. 5-6.

All hunters who submit a sample will complete a uniquely numbered biological sample card that will assist them in accessing test results online.
