Services for Connie Louise Akers Patterson will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Vicksburg Family Life Cathedral Church with pastor Betty J. Tyler officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Lakeview Funeral Home with the family present from 5 until 6 p.m. and Friday at the church from noon until the service. 

Mrs. Patterson died Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, at Shady Lawn Nursing Home. She was 81.

Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by her parents, Dave Johnson and Ruby Akers Little; her brother, Milton “Artel” Moore; and her husband, James Patterson.

Survivors include her three daughters, Ruby Akers Williams and Ursula Patterson, both of Vicksburg, and Cynthia Akers Major of Chesapeake, Virginia; one brother, John L. Moore of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren, Conni (Cisco) Akers, Camilla Major, Bobbie Major and Jasmine Williams; five great-grandchildren, and other relatives including the Moore, Smith, and Johnson families.
