Vicksburg was missing half of its usual starting lineup that was suspended for the game for disciplinary reasons. Warren Central wasted no time taking advantage of that, as it roughed up pitcher Charli Van Norman for 21 runs in an inning-plus.

Van Norman walked nine batters and allowed 13 hits. Lockridge hit two of her three doubles in the first inning as WC quickly wiped out a 4-0 deficit by scoring 17 runs.

Laura Reagan Logue was 2-for-2 with two RBIs and three runs scored for Warren Central, Kallie Page went 2-for-2 with three RBIs and three runs scored, and Annalyn Nevels walked three times and scored three runs.

Although they were soundly defeated, the Missy Gators did hit the ball well. They collected 10 hits against WC pitchers Bri Daughtry and Hossley, and scored seven runs in the first two innings.

Abby Hughes was 2-for-2 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored for the Missy Gators.
