Vicksburg water department employees have finished repairs on a 12-inch main waterline that caused a drop in water pressure in southwest Vicksburg.

Customers in the area of Vicksburg affected will be under a boil water notice until further notice.

Water and gas superintendent Dane Lovell said the line was in a wooded area along Pemberton Square Boulevard between Murphy’s gas station at the intersection of U.S. 61 South and Pemberton Square Boulevard and the AT&T store on Pemberton.
