Boil water notice issued for southwest Vicksburg

Customers on the Vicksburg water system in southwest Vicksburg and Yokena Water District customers are under a boil water notice until Thursday while city water department employees continue working on a broken waterline off Pemberton Square Boulevard.

The employees are working to install a valve on the 12-inch water main west of the break, and have reduced water pressure during the installation.
