Elise McLemore Parker, 82, passed away at her home in Vicksburg on April 22, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was the loving mother of six children, Billy Ray Parker, James Parker, Cathy Faits, Donnie Parker, Marcia Holland and Anna Tonnang. She is also survived by a sister, Janice Alexander; a brother, Burlyn McLemore; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, William “Bill”
R. Parker Sr.; her parents, Pascal and Louise McLemore; and a sister, Pearl Ann Barksdale.

Elise worked throughout her life as a waitress, a real estate agent and as an RV park attendant at Ameristar. She loved people and traveling. She had many relatives and friends, and will be sorely missed.

A memorial service will be held at Bovina Baptist Church Monday, April 29, 2019, at 10 a.m. with pastor Randy Burns officiating.
