Funeral services for Robert Lee Bell will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, in the chapel of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Wesley officiating.

Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation was held Friday, May 3, at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m.

Robert Lee Bell passed away on Friday, April 26, at Select Hospital of Jackson following a brief illness. He was 70.

He was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. Andrew and Roberta Brown; his wife, Betty Bell; his 2 brothers, Andrew Bell Jr. and Albert Bell; his three sisters, Princess Bell, Jessie Mae Robinson and Geraldine Hollins.

He is survived by his five sons, Curtis Johnson and Robert Johnson of Atlanta, Ga., David Johnson of Byram, Patrick Hill of Natchez and Frank Dillard of Port Gibson; his two daughters, Ruby Miller and Roberta Williams, both of Vicksburg; his three brothers, Louis Bell and Otis Bell of Vicksburg, and Freddie Bell of Chicago Ill.; and a sister, Flora Melvin of Chicago; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
