A Warren County man was injured Saturday after his truck left the road on U.S. 80.

Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said Dustin Ingram, 21, was found alone in his truck off U.S. 80 about noon Saturday by a passing motorist  who called authorities.

He was removed from the truck by Vicksburg and Bovina firefighters using the Jaws of Life, and taken to University of Mississippi Medical Center. His condition was unavailable.

Pace said Ingram was westbound on U.S. 80 when his truck went off the south side of the road between the Big Black and Clear Creek bridges and struck a tree, which prevented the truck from going into the swollen Big Black.

The wreck remains under investigation by Sheriff’s deputies Mike Raney and Sgt. Silento McMorris.
