Funeral services for Claudia Ann Wright will be noon Saturday, May 11, at Greater Grove Street M. B. Church with the Rev. Joe N. Mosley officiating.

Interment will follow in  Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home. 

Visitation will be Friday at  the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m.

Claudia Ann Wright passed away on Wednesday, April 24, in North Las Vegas, Nevada,  following a lengthy illness.  She was 75. 

She had worked at the Anderson-Tully Lumber Mill and was a member of the Calvary M. B. Church, and was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Anna Bell Taylor; her husband, Garfield Wright Jr.; son, Garfield Wright, III; and her sister, Ruby Franklin

She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Taylor and LaDonna Tapplin, both of Las Vegas; her two brothers, Cleveland Ford of Vicksburg and Edie Taylor Jr. of Las Vegas, Nev.; her sisters, Lucinda Pierce of Las Vegas, and Ruby Carter of Vicksburg, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
