UTICA — Peyton Keith Gill died Monday, June 3, 2019, at the University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham. He was 17.

He was a native of Vicksburg and lived most of his life in Utica, where he was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer.

He was a member of the Utica Christian Church.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Brandie (Todd) Cook of Brandon; his father and stepmother, Terry (LaDonna) Gill Jr. of Eupora; his brothers, Casen Gill, Jacob Burton and Kaleb Privett, all of Eupora; his sisters, Savannah Gill of Biloxi, Zoie Cook of Brandon and Nataleigh Burton of Eupora; his paternal grandparents, Terry Keith (Ruby) Gill Sr. of Utica; his maternal grandparents, T.J. (Judy) Stubbs of Brandon and Woody and Paula Cook of Brandon; his paternal great-grandmother, Mary Rose Phillips of Vicksburg; and many other relatives.

Memorial services will be Friday, June 7, 2019 at 5 p.m. at Utica Christian Church, with Rev. Brad Hartzog officiating.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. Friday until the hour of the service at the church.
