A Louisiana man was killed Saturday afternoon when his motorcycle collided with a log truck at the intersection of U.S. 61 North and Redwood Road.

The wreck occurred about 1:25 p.m. Mississippi Highway Patrol trooper Kervin Stewart said a 2014 Harley-Davidson three-wheeler driven by Albert K. Mills Jr., 76, of Rayville, La., was northbound when an empty eastbound log truck driven by James C. Thomas Jr., 38, of Port Gibson, crossed into the path of the motorcycle.

Mills was unable to avoid a collision and hit the right side of the truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Warren County Coroner Doug Huskey. The driver of the log truck was not injured.
