Warren County authorities are continuing their investigation into the Friday night shooting death of Keithan Ward, 21.

Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said deputies responding a call about 9:15 p.m. Friday concerning a one-car wreck in the 8400 block of Halls Ferry Road found Ward in a Nissan Altima with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to Merit Health River Region, where he later died in the hospital emergency room.

Warren County Coroner Doug Huskey said Ward’s body was sent to the Mississippi State Crime Lab for an autopsy.
