Marcus Wilson, 29, of Vicksburg is being held without bond in the Warren County Jail. He has a hold placed on him by the Mississippi Department of Corrections for parole violation involving an earlier charge.

Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said deputy Dustin Keys stopped a GMC Sierra pickup about 3:40 p.m. As he approached the truck, Keys smelled the odor of marijuana.

During a search of the truck after Wilson’s arrest, Keys found scales, small plastic bags, marijuana, ammunition for a .40-caliber handgun and body armor. No gun was recovered. Another small bag of marijuana was found on Wilson during a search while he was being booked into jail.
