Previously serving as the assistant visitor services manager, Blossom is familiar with the duties of her new position.

In a release from the VCVB, Blossom is now responsible for “leading the visitor service team in providing a priceless first impression to our visitors to Vicksburg.”

She also fulfills inquiries, provides visitation reports and manages all visitor center locations.

In addition to the Vicksburg Visitors Information Center on Old Highway 27, the VCVB has information centers located inside the Vicksburg National Military Park and the Jesse Brent Lower Mississippi River Museum.

“Invite every visitor with a smile and a laugh,” Blossom said describing her motto. “Never allow a visitor to leave the Visitor’s Center with any doubt on directions to where they are headed.”

Blossom has over 30 years of experience in retail, casino and restaurant venues with a background in human resources and administration.

She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Jackson State University and is a Leadership Vicksburg graduate. She is also an evangelist at Trinity Temple Baptist Church.
