Alice Katherine Langdon Duke passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019.  She was 88 years old.  Alice was born in Thomastown and had been a resident of Vicksburg since 1959.  She was a kindergarten teacher at Goodrum Baptist Church for many years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, O.C. Duke, Jr.; brothers Bill Langdon, Walter Langdon, and Howard Langdon; and sisters Nell Langdon and Jenny Langdon.

She is survived by her son, Phillip Duke; daughters, Angela Purvis, Mary Duke, and Alice Luckett; a granddaughter, Jennifer Payne; grandsons, David Duke and Justin Luckett; great-grandsons Ford Payne and Duke Payne; and a great-granddaughter, Arden Payne.

A graveside service was held Monday, July 22, 2019, at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Riles Funeral Home.
