Deputy arrests one for receiving stolen property

A Braxton man has been charged with receiving stolen property after his arrest Sunday.

Warren County Sheriff’s deputy D’Andre Smith stopped Kenneth Dalton Runnels about 1 p.m. Sunday on U.S. 80 for a traffic violation.

Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said during the traffic stop, a records check on the 2006 Harley Davidson he was riding indicated it was stolen.

Runnels was arrested, charged and later released on a $2,500 bond.
