Hometown and how long you have lived in Warren County. If you’re a lifelong resident of Warren County please include that.

I am a lifelong resident of Warren County, along with my wife and children. I was born, raised and also educated in this community in the public schools

•  Highest education level achieved and/or technical certification. Also include any degrees earned and institutions where those degrees and/or certifications were earned.

Bachelor of Science Degree — Alcorn State University; Banking School — University of Mississippi; Consumer Lending School — University of Oklahoma; Bank Security School — University of Maryland.

•  In your opinion, what is the number one issue facing your district? Why do you believe that issue is a top priority?

I feel the number one issue and priority in my district is economic development and job creation. We must collaborate with city and state leaders to attract companies and businesses to our community. Public safety is also an important aspect to the welfare of our community. I will work with law enforcement to help give them the tools they need to fight crime and create a safe environment for our citizens.

•  As supervisor, what have you done to address issues in your district? If running for office, what would you do as supervisor to address those issues?

As Supervisor of District 3, I would always have an open door policy for the citizens I represent. It will be my sworn duty and responsibility to be the voice of my constituents and address any issues and concerns they may have in my district and the county as a whole. It will also be important to use all resources at the county’s disposal to improve the quality of life for all of our citizens.

•  As a whole how would you grade the current Board of Supervisors’ performance? Be specific as to those things you believe the board has done well and those things that could have been done better. If you’re running for office, please grade the current board overall and be specific in those areas they have done well at, or need to do a better job.

I feel it is always up to the citizens of the community to determine if our elected officials are serving the needs of the people. Self-reflection, humility, and a faithful heart are attributes that would guide my leadership and focus on a daily basis if I am elected Supervisor of District 3. Every decision I make will be based upon whether or not it is beneficial to the citizens of my community.

•  As a county overall, what do you believe the biggest challenge facing the county will be over the next four years and what do you believe you can do to meet those challenges if you are elected or re-elected?

The biggest challenges we will face as a county over the next four years include more job creation and an emphasis on small business. Our focus on these two issues will vastly improve the quality of life for all of our citizens, especially those living in District 3. When people have a better quality of life, our entire city and county benefit. Revenues increase, and people feel better about investing in our community and making Warren County their home. We must all collectively work together as a Board to achieve prosperity for the citizens of our community.
