Mr. Gus Johnson Jr. passed away Aug. 1, 2019, at Merit Health River Region. He was 93.

Funeral Services will be noon Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019, at Greater Grove Street Missionary Baptist Church.

Interment will follow at Cary Community Cemetery in Cary under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home Friday 1 to 7 p.m., and Saturday at the church from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service.

Survivors include his three children, Carl  (Mary) Johnson, Carnette Walton and Gwen (Pierre) Tatum; and a host of other relatives and friends.
