Bracy Alexander Coleman

A Memorial service for Bracy Alexander Coleman is to be held on Saturday the 10 August in the Chapel of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home at 11 a.m. with pastor Cedric Lawrence officiating.

Mr. Coleman passed away Thursday, Aug. 1, at Merit Health River Region following a brief illness. He was 72. 

He was a retired welder and a member of the Church of Christ Highway 61.

He was preceded in death by his parents ,Henry and Alice Coleman; his brothers, Henry Coleman Jr. and T. J. Jackson;  his sister, Mary Sue Coleman Boozer; and his son, Bracy Derrell Coleman.

He is survived by his wife, Phyliss Coleman of Vicksburg; his nine sons, Marcus Coleman of Memphis, Tenn. , Kevin Scott of Arizona, Jackie Coleman of Memphis, Kenny Flowers and Alexander Coleman, both of Vicksburg, James Conner of Memphis, Michael Conner of Memphis, Percy Rogers of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Phillip Rogers of Vicksburg; a daughter, Felecia Coleman of Memphis; three brothers, William Coleman and Charles Coleman, both of Vicksburg, and Leon Coleman of Memphis; his sisters, Willie Mae Jackson, Carol Ann Woods and Savannah Coleman-Dixon, all of Vicksburg; 33 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
