Katrina Runnels Davis

Katrina Runnels Davis died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2019, at Merit Health River Region. She was 58.

A lifelong resident of Vicksburg, she graduated from Warren Central High School and Hinds Junior College, where she received her LPN degree. She was formerly employed at the Waterways Experiment Station, South Park School and the Hawkins Church day care center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hansel and Ruth Gay Runnels; and a brother, Jonathan Runnels.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn Davis of Vicksburg; her daughter, Hannah (Tom) Madonna of Hattiesburg; her son, Nathan (Jenna) Davis of Gainesville, Fla.; her sister, Jane (Mike) Coomes of Vicksburg; her brother, Tommy (Debby) Runnels of Vicksburg; and her granddaughter, Ripley Madonna of Hattiesburg.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019, in the chapel of Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Burns officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the hour of the service.
