Ms. Virgie Anderson Williams, 87, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 15, 2019, in Fredericksburg, Va. She was a Vicksburg native.

Survivors include her children, Marietta Moore, Bertha Mixon, Virgia Hearon, Charlie Jean Walker and Darfeis Williams all of Vicksburg, and Elma Williams Coleman of Fredericksburg, Va.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be Monday, Aug. 26, 2019 at 2 p.m., at Greater Grove Street Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Casey Fisher officiating.

Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.
