A celebration of life has been scheduled for Elmer Durrell Jr. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Travelers Rest Baptist Church.

Elmer will lie in repose at the church from 10 a.m. until the hour of service. Visitation will be at C J Williams Mortuary Services Friday from 1 to 7 p.m., with the family present from 6 to 7.

Elmer was a faithful member of Travelers Rest until his demise and was a retired car salesman. He is a 1973 graduate of Vicksburg High School.

He leaves to mourn his transitioning his two sons, Elmer (Wendy) Durrell III, Gregory (Nita) Durrell, both of Clinton; one sister, Patricia (Elijah) Hunt; three granddaughters, Arianna Nichelle Durrell, Addison and Grace Durrell; one grandson Elmer Durrell IV; and many family members and friends.
