Funeral services for John Lee Green will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. E E Gibbs officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home. 

Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. 

Mr. Green passed Thursday, Sept. 12, at Merit Health River Region following a brief illness. He was 65.

He was a retired truck driver, and a member of the Brown Washington Hunting Club and of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Green.

He is survived by his mother, Alberta Selmon of Vicksburg; 10 brothers and 14 sisters and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and others.
