Natalie Lynn “Nat” McMillian, 15, of Vicksburg passed away Oct. 11, 2019, at Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital.

Nat was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter and friend. She loved riding her four-wheeler and anything to do with the outdoors.

Her faith in God and the strength and courage she showed on this journey with DIPG taught us more than we could have ever taught her. It was truly an honor to be a part of Nat’s life. She was a testimony to many. To know Nat was to love her.

The love, loyalty and care she had for others was immeasurable.

You could always find her four-wheeler riding, swimming, spending time with family, normally with a baby on her hip and living life to the fullest. Her laughter was contagious. Nat saved us all.

She taught us all how to love without ceasing, and her faith in God throughout this journey has taught us how to live, to make every second matter, but most importantly, to put God first and everything else will fall into place.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. — Joshua 1:9

Nat was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Billy Hughes (Paw Paw and the Pigs) and her paternal grandfather, Johnny McMillian. She is survived by her parents, Jonathan and Amanda McMillian; sisters, Chelsea McMillian (Conner Hodge), Lauren McMillian, paternal grandparents, Peggy and Bill Wright; maternal grandparents, Michael and Debbie Titone; nephew, Easton Allen Hodge; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
