Funeral services for Thelma Kaiser will be held Saturday, Oct. 19 at 2:30 p.m. in the Zion Traveler M.B. Church with the Rev. Alfred Lassiter Jr. officiating; interment shall follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home. 

There will be a visitation held on Friday the 18 October in the funeral home from 5-6 p.m.

Thelma Kaiser passed away Monday, Oct. 14 in The Bluffs Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. She was 95. 

She was a retired waitress having worked in the Vicksburg Cafe and was a member of the Zion Traveler M.B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents Dave Lewis and Alberta Kaiser King.

She is survived by her son, David Franklin of Fayette; three daughters Barbara Franklin of Churchill, Albertha Kaiser and Gertrude Rowan both of Vicksburg, 12 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
