Vicksburg Fire Chief Craig Danczyk said Lt. Daniel Moulder, who was on duty, responded to the scene and reported the victim had a gunshot wound and that there was no exit wound. An off-duty firefighter-EMT, Danczyk said, just happened to be getting his haircut at the time of the incident and provided initial care to the individual.

The man was transported to Merit Health River Region with what officials called “non-life threatening injuries.”
