Venus Darlene Jones, a lifelong resident of Vicksburg, passed away at home early Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019, at the age of 59. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Beloved daughter of late James Abney and Shirley Redwine, Darlene leaves to mourn her five children, Danielle Brewer, Abbey Jones, Fallon Aguilar, Shannon Jones, and Jordyn Jones, along with six grandchildren.

Darlene took pride in being a loving mother, an encourager, a protector, a confidant, and a great friend. Prayers of support for the family would be greatly appreciated.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. at First United Pentecostal Church Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, followed by services at 11 a.m. with pastor Dathan Tipton officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
