A fight inside El Sombrero of Vicksburg, 110 Cypress Center Drive,  Tuesday evening led to shots being fired in the parking lot.

According to Lt. Johnnie Edwards with the Vicksburg Police Department, officers responded to a disturbance call at the restaurant where they learned a number of people had been involved in a fight inside around 9:45 p.m. Edwards said the fight then spilled out into the parking lot where two random shots were fired.

No one was injured and the city forced the restaurant to close until representatives from the restaurant met with Vicksburg Chief of Police Milton Moore and Mayor George Flaggs Jr. Wednesday morning.
