Celebration of Life has been Scheduled for Sandy Carter Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020, at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 260 Highway 27.

Sandy will lie in repose at the church from 10 a.m. until the hour of service. Visitation will be at C J Williams Mortuary Services on Friday, Jan. 3, 2020 from 1-7 p.m. with family present from 6-7 p.m.

Sandy was an outstanding baseball player and was Vicksburg’s baseball superstar. He drove school bus for Cedar Head Start until he retired.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories of 57 years his wife, Eva Carter; his children, Michael (Lavinia) Durman, Pamela (Shelby) Brown, Barbara Carter, Cathy Demby, Diane Renee Carter; three brothers, Julius (Doris) Carter, Joe Carter, Charles ( Mary) Carter; three sisters, Anges Carter, Julia Carter, Betty Carter; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
