An early morning line of thunderstorms moving through Warren County caused minor damage and knocked out power to more than 300 homes Saturday.

Entergy customer service representative Tammy Rankin said 336 customers were reported without power in the wake of the storm, about 170 of those in the Bovina area.

She said the outages started as the storm passed through early Saturday morning, and were scattered throughout the area.

“We have scouts out in the area trying to locate the problem,” she said.

The storms downed some trees in the county and the city that were quickly removed by street and road crews.

Warren County Emergency Management director John Elfer said a tree reportedly fell on a mobile home in the Eagle Lake community, but there was no damage.

“We dodged another bullet,” he said.
