Funeral services for Madison Parish, La. Sheriff Larry Gene Cox, age 67, were held Sunday, Jan. 19 at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Tallulah, La. Visitation began at 1:30 p.m. in the church. 

Following the funeral, a private burial service for the family only was held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah, La. under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.
