Investigators with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office are calling on the community for help in finding those responsible for a burglary overnight at Cook Tractor Co.

According to Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace, four pieces of equipment were stolen “sometime overnight” from the business located on U.S. Highway 80. Three pieces of equipment, a 54-inch lawnmower and two, 60-inch lawnmowers were missing, while a fourth piece of equipment was taken, but later discovered on the edge of the company’s property.

Pace said the individuals responsible reportedly cut a lock on a gate at the front of the business, removed the equipment and then placed the gate back. It was after Cook Tractor employees found the lock and reviewed the inventory that law enforcement was notified.
