Crime reports: Officers respond to auto theft call at VHS Tuesday

Officers with the Vicksburg Police Department were dispatched to Vicksburg High School Tuesday in regards to an auto theft.

In a release from the department, at 9:16 p.m. Tuesday officers responded to the school, where a victim said someone entered his 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 truck and stole $45 cash and his wallet.

In response to another incident Tuesday, officers responded to 100 King Drive at 10:13 p.m. in reference to shots fired.

Upon arrival, officers saw no signs of suspicious activity, and no evidence of shots being fired was recovered.
