RAYMOND — This week’s bad weather has forced Hinds Community College to move some sporting events off campus and postpone others.

Hinds’ football tryouts, originally scheduled for Wednesday, have been moved to Feb. 26 at 1 p.m. at Joe Renfroe Stadium on the Raymond campus. Registration will take place on the day of the tryout from noon to 1 p.m. inside the Mayo Athletic Field House.

Hinds’ Winter Baseball Showcase has been postponed for a second time. It was originally scheduled for earlier this month, moved to Feb. 16, and then on Tuesday postponed indefinitely. No new date was announced.
