Adams Christian hands PCA a loss

Dylan Laprarie went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored, and Adams County Christian scored six unanswered runs to beat Porter’s Chapel Academy 10-4 in a varsity baseball game Monday at Sports Force Parks.

Matt Petty also had two hits and two RBIs for ACCS.

Spencer Azlin hit a sacrifice fly, and Luke Yocum had an RBI single during a three-run third inning for PCA that tied the game at 4. Adams Christian scored twice in the bottom of the inning, however, and tacked on two more runs in the fourth inning and two in the sixth.

Yocum finished 2-for-3 with one RBI for PCA (0-4). Pitchers Jacob Hynum, Andrews and Taylor Osborne combined for 10 strikeouts, but also walked 11 batters.

Andrews hit a solo home run in the first inning.
