Crime report: Vicksburg woman charged with possession of meth

A Vicksburg woman was in court Monday following her arrest Friday on drug charges.

Friday, at 7:45 p.m., officers with the Vicksburg Police Department’s Neighborhood Enhancement Team (NET) arrested Tabitha Neal, 42, of Vicksburg, on a warrant of possession of methamphetamine.

Judge Penny Lawson set Neal’s bond at $10,000 and bound her case over to the Warren County grand jury.

• On Friday, at 10:40 a.m., officers responded to an address in the 1500 block South Street in reference to a theft. The victim reported someone broke into the home and stole a PlayStation 4 valued at $500.

• On Friday, at 10:06 p.m., officers responded to the 4400 block of I-20 Frontage Road in reference to shots fired. Officers found no evidence of shots fired at the scene.

• On Saturday, at 11:49 p.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of Forrest Street in reference to shots fired. Officers found no evidence of shots fired at the scene.

• On Sunday, at 3:15 a.m., officers responded to the area of Fifth North and Poplar Street in reference to shots fired. Officers found no evidence of shots fired at the scene.

• On Sunday, at 3:17 a.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Claremont Circle in reference to an auto burglary. The victim reported someone broke into his 2011 Dodge Ram. The victim also reported he fired a warning shot at the suspect.

• On Sunday, at 11:16 p.m., officers responded to Demby Drive in reference to shots fired. Officers found no evidence of shots fired at the scene.
