Tina Carrie Price Nasif

Tina Carrie Price Nasif, 58, passed away on March 10, 2020, in Gulf Shores, Ala.

Tina was born on January 31, 1962, to Leatha and Sammy Price, Jr. in Pine Bluff, Ark.

As a young girl, Tina and her family moved to Vicksburg. In 1980, she graduated from Warren Central High School and went on to attend the University of Southern Mississippi as a dance major. After returning to Vicksburg, she followed her passion for fitness and became an aerobics instructor. She then went on to work at May & Company before opening her gourmet candy business, Sweet Deliveries. Eventually, Tina decided to leave her career and become a stay-at-home mom.

Her friends and family knew Tina by her energetic spirit and infectious personality. She loved with her whole heart, never met a stranger, and possessed the beautiful gift of always making everyone feel special. Tina was the life of the party wherever she went and could always be found on the dance floor. She especially loved traveling and visiting her friends and family.

She was survived by two children, Carrie Osteen (Cooper) of Fort Pierce, Fla. and Millan Nasif of Fort Benning, Ga.; her beautiful granddaughter, Ayla Raye; and four of her siblings, Wanda James, Alisa Sullivan (James), Patty Mixon and Sam “Yogi” Price III (Sheron).

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leatha and Sammy, and her sister, Linda Price Smith.

A celebration of life will be Monday, March 16, 2020, from 4-7 p.m. at The Biscuit Company, located at 610 Grove St., Vicksburg. All family and friends are invited to join the celebration.
