First confirmed COVID-19 case in Madison Parish reported

The Louisiana Department of Health has reported the first confirmed COVID-19 case in Madison Parish, which is across the Mississippi River from Vicksburg.

The Madison Parish case increases the number of reported cases in Louisiana to 2,305 positive cases as of Thursday. The individual’s name, age, or where they live in the parish was not reported.
