The city of Vicksburg will host an event Thursday to mark the annual National Day of Prayer.

Pastors, ministers and evangelists in Vicksburg and Warren County are invited to the National Day of Prayer event set to begin at 11:30 a.m. on the steps of city hall.

The program is sponsored by the Mayor’s Faith-Based Advisory Board. Planning committee members are Pastors Trollars Moore, Linda Sweezer and Ministers Willie Thomas and Michelle Johnson, advisory board chairs.

Those attending are asks to wear masks.
