Crime reports: Guns, jewelry stolen from Vicksburg home

Tuesday evening, officers with the Vicksburg Police Department responded to a call on Stonewall Drive in reference to a larceny.

The victim reported someone stole a gold necklace, two sets of wedding bands, belt buckle, .22 caliber revolver, 19 silver dollar coins, a Delton AR-15, a Marshall High School gold class ring and several rounds of ammunition.

The value of the missing items was reported at $11,700.

• Tuesday, at 1 p.m., officers responded to an address in the 1000 block of Monroe Street in reference to a theft. The victim reported someone stole a SECY 9mm handgun from a 2006 Lexus. The vehicle had been left unlocked.

• Tuesday, at 4:38 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Still Water Drive in reference to shots fired. The victim stated someone fired four rounds into the driver’s door of a 2008 Ford F-250.

• Tuesday, at 6:42 p.m., officers made contact with a victim in the lobby of the police department in reference to a theft that occurred in the 2400 block of Clay Street. The victim reported someone went into a 2016 Ford Escape and stole $500. The vehicle had been left unlocked.
