Crime reports: Police announce multiple drug-related arrests

The Vicksburg Police Department Friday reported two drug-related arrests — both including Vicksburg residents.

Early Friday, Jeffrey Cage, 21, of Vicksburg, was arrested on a traffic stop. He appeared in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Friday and was charged with one count of felony possession of marijuana. 

Judge Angela Carpenter set Cage’s bond at $50,000 and he was bound over to the Warren County grand jury.

Thursday, Kenneth Butler, 59, of Vicksburg, was arrested by the Vicksburg Police Department Narcotics/Net Team on a charge of sale of cocaine. He also appeared before Judge Carpenter Friday, where his bond was set at $30,000 and he was bound over to the Warren County grand jury.

In other reports:

• Thursday, at 6:18 a.m., officers responded to a residence in the 1200 block of Prospect Street in reference to a theft. The victim reported someone broke into a 2016 Nissan Rogue and stole $420 from the center console.

• Thursday, at 9:04 a.m., officers responded to a residence in the 500 block of Farmer Street in reference to a theft. The victim reported someone broke the front passenger window of a 2002 Toyota Camry and stole a radio, license and money.
