Thomas Edward Ward Sr., 75 yrs old went to his eternal home on May 21, 2020. He was born on Jan. 14, 1945 in Midnight. He was a retired painter. He loved to play slow pitch and fastpitch softball, fish and was a dedicated golfer. Mr. Ward was of the Baptist faith. As a young boy he accepted Christ and was baptized. In 2013, he rededicated his life to the Lord.

Mr. Ward was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Edward Ward Sr. and Rosia Lee Ward; a brother, Frank Ward Jr.; sisters, Jessie Mae Eubanks, Doris Davis, Lorraine Hasty, Peggy Sanders, LaRue Buckley and Annette Bishop; and a grandson Trey Ward.

He leaves behind his wife, Debbie Ward; his daughter, Cheryle Ward Jinkins (Shawn); a son, Thomas (Bubba) Edward Ward Jr. (Jessica); six grandchildren, Heather Jinkins, Patrick Jinkins, Jamie Ward, Brandyn Carlisle, Samantha Carlisle and Thomas Edward Ward III; two great-grandchildren, Aleisha and CJ Brown; one brother, Charles Robert Ward Sr.; and one sister, Shirley Ann Burns.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Life Church 2918 Fisher Ferry Road, with Bro. Roger Cresswell officiating.
