The Vicksburg Police Department is continuing to investigating a shooting incident on South Street, where a home was damaged by gunshots.

At 1:53 a.m., officers responded to a home on the 1600 block of South Street in reference to shots fired.

The victim reported someone shot multiple rounds into a home. Officers recovered three shell casings at the scene.

In another report, officers Wednesday, at 12:34 a.m., responded to a home in the 1300 block of Mundy Street in reference to a burglary.

The victim reported someone stole a 32-inch flatscreen television and food.
