Funeral services for Charles Butler will be held Saturday, June 27, 2020, in the chapel of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dexter Jones officiating. Interment shall follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, June 26, 2020, in the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. with social guidelines followed.

Charles Butler passed away June 13, 2020, in the Hospice Ministries following a lengthy illness. He was 60. He was a self-employed carpenter and attended St. Marks M. B. Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Butler Sr., and his sisters, Gleneva Butler and Darlene Carter.

He is survived by his wife, Lula Mae Butler of Vicksburg; his two daughters, Charlene Butler and Lisa Parker of Vicksburg; his mother, Alberta Starks Butler of Vicksburg; his brothers, James Butler and Hubert L. Butler Jr. both of Vicksburg; his four sisters, Louise Butler, of New York, Irene Butler of North Carolina, Idena Butler and Christine Butler both of Vicksburg; and nine grandchildren.
